Sarah and Christian’s wedding took place at The Grand Barn at the Mohicans. Robert and I were thrilled to get to photograph their beautiful wedding at this incredible venue. It is full of elaborate tree houses and picture perfect locations all over the grounds. The ceremony space is stunning and we were able to capture parts of the day from the balcony looking down to showcase the whole look of the day.
Sarah and Christian are so sweet and perfect for each other. They met when they were both working at a Christian Camp and Christian fell for Sarah right away. It wasn’t too long after that Sarah realized what a wonderful guy Christian was and they started dating. Their wedding day was full of beautiful details and special moments.
One of my favorite moments of the day was when Christian and Sarah exchanged gifts with each other. Sarah wrote and then performed a song for Christian. It was about how she remembered when they met and the special moments and feelings that they shared. I couldn’t help myself and cried. It was so sweet and reminded me so much of when Robert wrote me a song and sang it for me during our ceremony. For Sarah and Christian this was a sweet moment between the two of them. He gave her a beautiful box with anniversary wine for their 1st, 5th, and 10 year anniversaries. How sweet to be looking ahead and celebrating their future together on their wedding day. They had a quilt ceremony that represented all of the family and friends that helped build the foundation of their relationship together. Many of the pieces of the quilt came from various friends and family. They also gave guests a little piece of the quilt in their jars.
They didn’t miss a single detail. The girls wore dresses that were each a little different but were all soft and elegant. Their flowers were stunning and pulled everything together!
