Gabrielle and Josh’s wedding day was simply beautiful from beginning to end. Their day was full of gorgeous flowers, lots of love, tons of laughter, family memories, and countless personal touches. Gabi and Josh thank you for allowing us to capture your beautiful day! Your love for the Lord and each other is truly a blessing and we are so thankful that we were able to capture your special day for you!
The day started at Josh’s parent’s house were the girls finished getting ready and Gabrielle slipped into her gorgeous Morilee gown. She handed me her box of details that were all put together for me to capture details. It included a family heirloom handkerchief. This handkerchief was her something blue, something old, and her something borrowed all raped into one. It had the wedding dates of her grandparents, parents, and now Gabrielle and Josh. The significance and blessing of family on a wedding day is so near and dear to our hearts. This special detail was beautiful!
They were married at Mohican Gardens in Loudonville, Ohio. The ceremony space took place at the Lakeside Pergola while rain gently fell. It was just enough to keep everyone cool without taking away from the beautiful ceremony. Gabrielle’s grandpa officiated the ceremony and Josh’s three sisters played piano for the beginning music. The groomsmen sang a quartet that was beautiful as well! We loved the doors that they used to have everyone walk down. They closed them just as Gabrielle walked over and Josh covered his eyes until she was behind the doors. Everyone giggled, it was a cute moment. As the doors opened she walked down the aisle with her mom and dad to greet her new husband. Their ceremony was sweet and full of love.
The reception was in the Conservatory and we LOVED the space! For us, as photographers, it was like photographing in a giant white box with beautiful soft light and flowers everywhere you looked. They served breakfast for dinner! Yep, you read that right! Breakfast! It was delicious! Waffles with homemade whipped cream and toppings, bacon, sausage, egg, yogurt parfaits, and of course coffee cake for desert! They shared their first dance with each other midst the gorgeous hanging flowers, played the shoe game, and then spent the evening celebrating with family and friends until they exited for their honeymoon in Aruba!
We hope you are having a fantastic honeymoon Mr. and Mrs. Montgomery! We are so happy for you and wish you the best for many years to come!
Congratulations Gabrielle and Josh! Thank you again for allowing us to be a part of our day and for treating us like friends! Best wishes to you!
We are currently booking 2017 weddings and have a few dates still available for 2016 as well! We would love to talk to you about your special day!
