I am always looking for fun and creative ways to spend time with Robert. Valentine’s day is coming up and I’ve been on the lookout for something different and fun! We always enjoy going out for a nice dinner and a movie but staying home is always nice too.

In my search for ideas someone mentioned spreading the love with others and I am so excited for this idea! She mentioned that her family always makes and gives valentines to their loved ones. What a sweet blessing to share with someone.

Some other ideas we found are on a site called Dating Divas. They have a wide assortment of pinterest perfect dates that they share all year long. If you are ever looking for something new and fun to do this is a great place to find it!

Ice Cream Date with a twist.

We love the idea of getting ice cream with all the fixings but this idea is to get a variety of different flavors and try them together while watching a movie. Yumm! Sprinkles are always an added bonus too!

Date Night in a Box.

A box full of movies, snacks, and our personal favorite Phase 10. When we first got married we didn’t have cable or internet because we knew we would be moving soon. So we often spent our evenings play Phase 10! This is a fun one, you should try it out! We used to spend time reading through a series of books called “Post Secret” too. They were unique and gave us something fun and different to do and think about.

Fondue Night in a Valentine’s Day Tent

Another yummy treat for sure! Dip strawberries and bananas in chocolate while cuddling up in a fun Valentine’s day fort together!

Go See a Show

Cleveland Playhouse Square is AWESOME and there are some amazing restaurants close by too! Get dressed up and go out for a night on the town!

Selfie Date Night

This one made me smile because we were taking “selfies” long before they had a name. We used to spend tons of time making silly faces and having a ball just being silly together! This would be the perfect addition to an evening spent in a Valentine’s day tent!
