Capturing the details of your wedding allows us to fully tell your story. They are also elements that brides often put a lot of time and effort into deciding exactly what they want. They sometimes have special meaning and sometimes are simply beautiful elements of your day that pull together the full look that you have created and tell a beautiful story in your album. We ask our brides to gather and have the following things with them while they are getting ready so that we can get some detail shots of their day.

The Rings: 

All three of them. The Groom’s ring, bride’s engagement ring and wedding band. No worries, we will be sure these get to the correct people before your ceremony.

The Flowers:

If it is possible to have your flowers ready for details they add an abundance of life and character to detail images.

Your Shoes:

Many brides spend tons of time picking out the perfect shoes for their wedding day and then they are hidden by your gorgeous dress. This is one time when they will get to shine.

Your Jewelry:

If you are wearing any jewelry we would love to incorporate it into your detail images.

Something old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue: 

If you have specific smaller elements for each of these things let us know!

Your Dress:

Hanging your dress on display is a beautiful remembrance of what you walked down the aisle in on your wedding day. If you have a special hanger that makes it even better!

Your Invitation Suite: 

The whole set is always wonderful to have to capture for you. This was the first thing your guests saw to get a picture of the feel of your wedding day!

Extra Added Touches: 

We always ask brides to bring along any extra ribbon that they had on decorations or left over fabric from a dress hem. The different textures and matching colors allow us to create a cohesive look for your wedding day details.

Family Heirloom:

If you have any family heirlooms like a jewelry box, broach, or handkerchief that you would like to be remembered as a special part of your day this is a great time to include it as well.

Anything Else:

Some brides want to show off their garter, special gloves, or shoes they will change into later. If you have anything else that is special to you be sure to include it and we will capture the memory for you!
