Lisa and Nate are Married at Country Cottage and Gardens

We spent much of our week full of prayers for Lisa and Nathan leading up to their wedding day at Country Cottage and Gardens in Mineral City, Ohio. We were praying that the weather would hold off just enough for them to have the day they’ve always dreamed of! Guess what, it did! The thunder was rumbling and the sky was dark at times but right before the door was opened for the bride to walk down the aisle the sun peeked out from behind a cloud. It didn’t start raining until after we got the family formals, a few portraits, and most of the bridal party left! We went into a near by building and took some adorable photos with umbrellas as well! Our trusty weather app, dark sky told us it was going to stop raining in 6 minutes and sure enough, it stopped just in time for us to finish up their portraits on the Country Cottage and Garden’s gorgeous property.

It was so clear to us that Nate and Lisa are beyond sweet and caring of everyone else around them. From their officiant’s message to Lisa offering to find a dry shirt for Robert, they could not have been sweeter. Watching the two of them together was adorable and their joy was clearly shared with all of their family and friends as well!

 

Our Favorite Parts of the Day

1. The mother son dance. I know, I know this always makes it on to my list. But, the whole momma son thing pulls my heart strings. This one was special and so much fun! They didn’t just wrap their arms around each other and turn in circles, they danced, and you couldn’t help but feel the joy as you watched them spin around.
2. The moment the sun came out before the door opened for the bride. This one was totally worth mentioning twice because it was such the perfect timing and we were all so hoping the weather would hold off for them!
3. Seeing the groom tear up as his beautiful bride walked down the aisle and then again as they listened to their toasts.

I can not thank the WHOLE bridal party enough for truly loving Nate and Lisa! They may have had umbrellas but it was without a doubt still wet and no one said a single peep other than, “of course we will.”

We had such a wonderful day with Lisa, Nate, and all of their guests at Country Cottage and Gardens in Mineral City, Ohio! We wish them both the very best and are so excited for them as they enjoy married life!
