Canton, Ohio Wedding Shoot at The Onesto

It is no secret that we love a good styled shoot and we had so much fun at our last one in Canton Ohio. It is so much fun to brainstorm all the pretty things and watch them mold together into a gorgeous vision. So much fun that we have a few more already in the works for later this year and can’t wait! We are so excited to have our shoot published on Let’s Bee Together today!

For this shoot Mycha and I were dreaming of something super classic, full of romantic, and historical touches. What better venue in Canton, Ohio to find all of these elements than The Onesto. It is a stunning space with beautiful chandeliers and soft blue and gold accents. It was the perfect inspiration for our dusty blue shoot.

With the help of an incredible dream team we quickly put together the details of our shoot. We gathered up pieces from Mycha Michelle’s styling collection, dreamed up stunning floral arrangements with Ashley’s Floral, and added all of the little details to bring it all to life. We were even able to work with one of our past brides who makes stunning cakes!

History meets luxury in the most classical way perfectly describes the “Dusty Blue and I Do” wedding inspiration shoot. The Onesto recently renovated their space dating all the way back to 1930. With gold tones, massive chandeliers, and pops of blue, our inspiration began. Wanting to create an epic event, we knew this historical space would bring our vision to life.

Guests enter at street level and make their way to the ballroom up the magnificent marble staircase to a gorgeous mezzanine level lobby. French doors and white pillars joined with gold toned floors created a lovely base to build our grand design. Mixing stone textures with clean lines highlighted both ends of the design spectrum. The soft lighting and original crystal chandelier highlighted the beauty and historical vision. Combined with gorgeous greenery, classic florals, dusty blue candles , and touches of mixed metals, this unique space gleamed in all of its glory. For a cozy appeal, we used plenty of candles to set an added romantic vibe.

The bride’s look was the perfect combination of glamour and classic elegance. The trumpet Sottero-Midgley gown with a sweetheart neckline was simply perfect! Together with the cathedral length veil ; it was straight out of a dream. Her elegant updo exposed the stunning necklace and earrings that added a soft addition of sparkle and shine to her overall look.

The sweetheart table pulled the shoot together to create the feel of a wedding day. Draped with chiffon fabric, Mycha Michelle’s asymmetrical tables-cape design was brought to life with Ashley’s floral. Along with these special touches Paper Twigs designed a gorgeous invitation suite, name cards, and menu to pair. The wax seal was an important detail as it brought in that historic appeal.

A set without cake and champagne is really just a meeting. Three layers of tasteful delicacy dazzled on top of our dessert cart complete with Playing with Pretty’s calligraphy details. The gold foiling brought in that history meets modern look. A little bubbly was a splendid way wash it all down.

Sometimes the smallest of details can have a huge impact! The Mrs. Box and delicate ribbon from Honey Silks and Company were perfect little touches to the details of the shoot!

Together with the french doors, crystal chandelier, marble staircase, sweetheart table, and rich history – a flawless combination of timeless elegance was created. The soft florals, bold contrast, and delicate details intermixed in the most classical way.
