Wandering the Streets of Charleston for a Rainbow Row Engagement Session

We spent the afternoon wandering through Charleston’s most iconic streets, soaking in the soft colors of Rainbow Row and the texture of those beautiful old cobblestones beneath our feet. Every turn seemed to reveal something new — an ivy-covered wall, a perfectly pastel doorway, a sunbeam breaking through the clouds for just a moment. IT’s the kind of place where you can’t help but slow your steps and take it all in, and Lisa and Billy did just that. 

They’re the kind of couple who make this job easy. Effortless in how they laugh together, how they move through the world side-by-side. Their warmth and connection came through in every frame, from soft glances to playful laughter as we explored the streets together.

Champagne Celebrations on Rainbow Row

Of course, no engagement session is complete without a little celebration. Lisa and Billy brought champagne to pop —and this is where Robert deserves a shoutout. Throughout the entire session, he faithfully carried a toaster box (yes, a literal toaster box) filled with champagne bottles as we made our way through the streets. 

When the time came, the champagne pop did not disappoint. Honestly, there are few things more iconic than popping champagne during a Rainbow Row engagement session, surrounded by Charleston’s historic beauty. Lisa and Billy laughed, cheered, and toasted to this incredible chapter of life together. 

From Engagement Sessions to a Wedding Weekend

Charleston gave us a stunning backdrop, but it’s Lisa and Billy’s connection that brought the magic to this session. From cobblestone streets to champagne toasts and toaster boxes, this day was a perfect reflection of who they are — joyful, kind, and ready to celebrate not just their wedding day, but the beautiful life they’re building together.
