This year will forever hold a special place in our hearts that is unlike any other Christmas. We spent the last 9 months preparing for a very special gift. Little Max arrived at the beginning of the month and we spent our first Christmas with Max in our new home watching endless Christmas movies, eating chocolate chip pancakes, and Christmas lasagna, with lots of extra cheese of course! We visited family on Christmas Eve and of course both grandmas fought to have the most Max time. He is one very loved little boy and we couldn’t be more blessed to have such wonderful family and friends.
This morning we slept in, pretty late actually. The sleep adjustments with little Max are very interesting and we had a long day yesterday going from one house to another. I decided to be sure to capture our present opening time as I have found the more we take pictures for others the less I take them for us. While cell phone pictures are fine for some things I decided I want some pretty pictures of Max’s first Christmas. He wont remember it but we will certainly be able to share our excitement with him and all of the gifts that his shopping loving momma got for him.
I had to capture the incredible gifts that Robert got for me this year. I absolutely LOVE the necklaces that he picked out for me and have had so much fun taking pictures of Max today with the instax mini 8. The pictures were perfect for the new project life materials I got to make a book for Max. It is a wonderful way to do some fast scrapbooking and I can’t wait to continue documenting Max’s life in this book. .. Everything is teal of course. =)
We are so thankful for all of our incredible clients and friends that we have had the opportunity to capture this year. We hope that each of you have had a wonderful Christmas filled with love and joy! We can’t wait to share our 2015 weddings, engagements, and detail posts with you as we wrap up this wonderful year. 2016 has some exciting things coming soon! Keep your eyes open for some upcoming contests, reveals, and giveaways! We can’t wait to share them with you soon!
Did I mention that Robert and I were at Target the other day and I looked at this scarf? Little did I know he already got it for me a few days before hand. Love him. So blessed. Enjoy the little things and Merry Christmas!
