Liz and Chris are Married at The Quarry Golf Club!
Liz and Chris had the most joyful wedding day full of love and tons of laughter at The Quarry Golf Club in Canton, Ohio. Their smiles were so contagious and we couldn’t help but smile right along with them! It was clear to see that they are truly two kindhearted people that come from kind families. We arrived early to The Quarry and admired the beautiful ceremony and reception space. The florals were in place and everything looked gorgeous! Their day was full of sweet moments and we are so thankful for the oppertunity to be a part of their day!
Liz and I go way back. We used to twirl baton together in Carol Koontz Baton and Drum Corps. We were 8 and 10 years old when we both started twirling. Her brothers played the drums and her dad often drove his convertible behind the group in parades. When we were in high school we twirled together for a few years as well. Having this history made their wedding day even more special. It was fun to sit on her porch as we finalized wedding details and reminisce about our past. We get to march together in a alumni event in a few weeks after they return from their honeymoon and I can’t wait! We are so honored that they selected us to be their photographers and couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful day for Liz and Chris! The Quarry was perfect, her dress was stunning, their florals were incredible, and everything was in place.
Our Favorite Moments of the Day
- When Chris, the groom said his vows. I’m not sure if there was a dry eye in the room. They wrote their own vows and they were so tender hearted and honorable. I loved when he mentioned ice cream too and that it can often heal all things, or something along those lines. Everyone laughed!
- Liz’s grandpa gave her two sixpence that she placed in the bottom of her shoe. I heard him say that one was the year her mother was born.
- Their first look when Chris told Liz how much he loved the watch that she got for him. He was simply beaming from ear to ear. Their love for each other was so sweet.
- The mother son and father daughter dances were perfect. It was so clear that they were close to their loved ones and the tears that rolled down all four of their faces were so sweet.
- The girls were absolutely amazing all day! It was REALLY windy and they were troopers! They decided to pin their curls back but rolled with it and looked AMAZING! Their dresses from Dillard were beautiful and the maid of honor’s speech was so sweet!
