Our Job as Wedding Photographers

I’m writing this post for Kristen and Nick’s engagement session at Quail Hollow in Hartville, Ohio and I can’t help but to think about the incredible job that we have. As wedding photographers, we are not only capturing love on one special day of our couple’s lives but we are capturing the day that they make a commitment to each other to become a family. I got up early this morning to get our little ones dressed and out the door to papa’s house so I could work today and my momma heart is missing them already. Family is so important. The foundation and commitment that we give to our loved ones is what it is all about. I’ve heard it said that your greatest work starts within the walls of your home.

I can’t help but to think about these sweet couples that we are photographing and think about the future they have ahead of them. The blessings of marriage and a life spent together with your best friend. I’m forever grateful that we get to be a part of capturing their love for them. From their wedding day and hopefully many years to follow on their anniversaries as well.
