Ohio Wedding Photographers Capture Backyard Wedding

Katsy and Cody are Married in Massillon, Ohio

Katsy and Cody said “I DO” at the perfect backyard wedding. They had originally dreamed of having a backyard wedding at her grandparents’ farm. However, she was worried it might be too much for everyone to have it on the family farm. They planned a gorgeous day at The Onesto in Canton but then 2020 quickly began changing all of their plans. While all of the changing was a major bummer, it ended up being perfect in the end.

The Wedding Day Details

Katsy wore a broach that has been worn on her mother’s side of the family for over 4 generations. It belonged to her Great, great, great, great grandmother. (I hope I got that right.) The ladies in the family have worn it in some way since. Katsy placed it on her bouquet. It was placed in a beautiful vintage jewelry box and looks perfect in their detail photos. Details like this are one of the reasons why we take the extra time to make sure every details is captured beautifully. Because who knows when a piece of jewelry could become the next item that is passed down for generations to come. Cody wore Jimmy Choo’s dress shoes that his sweet sister gifted him and he carried with him a pin of his grandmother inside his jacket.

All of these sweet details were completed at this gorgeous Ohio backyard wedding with a floral tree installation, gorgeous floral arch and the fence post lined with greenery and florals. We even managed to get a floral necklace around one of their favorite horses at the end of the night!

Everything about their day was simply perfect. No rain and sunshine all day after a day that was full of rain. We are truly so thankful for the oppertunity to capture days like this one!
