Angie and Joe’s beautiful wedding at Whitehall Columbia was an honor to shoot. If you’re unaware, Whitehall Columbia is a former school building. Angie and Joe met at a school where Angie currently still works so it felt very fitting to come together and celebrate in a venue that used to be a school.
Originally they planned their wedding to be in September this fall. But they quickly changed their plans after finding out Joe would be coming home for a short period of time in March. Joe serves in the military and has traveled all over the world. He will be gone for five months before he gets to come home for good. They are so looking forward to the start of their lives together as husband and wife.
When Angie walked down the aisle, Joe’s face absolutely lit up. Then he almost instantly broke into tears and covered his mouth to cover his epic reaction. It was absolutely one of our best “groom seeing his bride” moments we’ve had. Surrounded by their family and friends, Angie and Joe said I do.
Another one of my favorite moments from the day was when Angie gathered all their teachers from the Christian School (where she is a secretary). They snapped a group photo but then circled around her and all said a prayer. It was a beautiful moment filled with both tears and laughter. It’s always such a joy to capture such moving moments.
