Rachel and Brendan are Married
Rachel and Brendan got married for a second time on Saturday and we absolutely loved capturing their celebration at Whitehall Columbia in Ohio.
Whitehall Columbia was the perfect location for these two because they are both teachers and the venue is a transformed school. The entrance of the venue space used to be the school gym, but now it is a clean, open space, all dressed in white. Their head table was prominently displayed on the stage with their guests surrounding them on the old gym floor. You would be amazed by what the venue owner has done to transform the space into the beautiful venue that it is.
The outdoor ceremony was perfect for these two nature lovers. Set underneath a huge, gorgeous tree in a clearing surrounded by greenery and sunshine Rachel and Brendan said “I do” for the second time.
We are so thankful when we have the opportunity to work with couples who have amazing families and friends. From the moment I walked in the door, Rachel’s mom simply wanted to help and make sure that everything was taken care of. She also shared with me that Rachel’s robe that was made from parts of her mother’s wedding dress. We love it when couples have special details and sentimental touches like this sprinkled throughout their wedding day.
Some of our favorite parts of the day:
1. When Rachel’s father saw her for the first time you could tell that he was tearing up and adores his little girl.
2. When the sun came out after the rain.
3. Their sweet ceremony with each other.
4. Watching their friends and family mingle and enjoy the company. What a joy it is to see people be able to celebrate together again.
