Kristen and Gabe are Married!

To say Kristen and Gabriel’s wedding at Catawba Island Club was incredible would be an understatement.

Although the sky looked threatening it was such a relief that it didn’t rain for their stunning Lake Erie wedding. On our way home, what we thought were rain drops hitting the car were instead bugs on the windshield. The coast was truly clear for this couples wedding by the.

Kristen has a keen attention to detail. She shared that one of the main reason she chose us was because she loved our detailed photos. That makes me smile because we love taking them. By showing up 35 minutes early, we made sure we had plenty of time to capture her beautiful personalized touches.

She absolutely didn’t miss a beat with her sea glass inspired wedding details. The invitations featured a custom illustration of the boat that they rode on after they said “I do”. Kristen selected a beautifully personalized sea foam Mrs. Box to hold the rings for detail shots. Kristen accessories with Olive and Piper earrings and a beautiful tennis bracelet. To compliment the look and feel of the day I utilized white shells and a small brass helm detail to tie it all together.

This day at Catawaba Island Club will be one that we will never forget. Following their beautiful ceremony and some quick portraits, the family and bridal party loaded the boat for a trip around Lake Erie. While out on the boat, Kristen and Gabe were able to relax and enjoy their family as they soaked in the breeze on this hot Ohio day. Up on the top of the deck, taking advantage of the gorgeous water view, we captured a few of my favorite portraits of the entire day.

As we were taking family portraits someone asked Kristen if she was nervous for the day and her response was priceless. She Looked over to her husband and said “No, why would I be nervous? I’m literally marrying you and that’s the best thing ever.”
