Destination Wedding in Houston TX |The Cannons Photography

Nichole and Tyler’s Houston TX wedding was the absolute best way for us to jumpstart an incredible wedding season for 2024. We absolutely loved every second celebrating these two.

Robert and I met Nichole back when we were in college as music students and have since continued our friendship, and our son Max was even one of her piano students locally. We were absolutely thrilled when she asked us to be her wedding photographers, and we couldn’t wait to go to Houston for their special day. 

Nichole is full of style and has always been very fashion forward. She selected the most beautiful design elements for her day and even prepared an entire floral design board for her florist. There was a beautiful door that was covered in greenery and blossoms along with a grand piano that was draped in stunning flowers as well. With nichole being a pianist and Tyler being a talented musician as well, It was a wonderful way to highlight and incorporate their love for music. From the flowers billowing out of the piano, to those beautiful floral arches, and the floral arrangements that welcomed her as she entered the ceremony, it was just an absolute dream. Not to mention the getaway car that had a license plate on the front that said Ohio and on the back that said Texas, every single detail was so carefully thought about and executed beautifully.

The day was full of incredible emotions. It was a little bit dreary but everyone was there and thrilled for these two to finally say “I do”. But during the ceremony the sun burst through the windows as they sang a beautiful worship song, and it was clear that the Lord has giant plans for their lives together. Nichole and Tyler plan to spend their lives starting off as evangelists with Nichole along Tyler’s side as he sings and she plays piano. We are so excited for these two as they enter into their marriage and cannot wait for what is to come in 2024. 

The careful attention to detail that Nichole paid to her florals made the entire day feel elevated. With florals on the outside door we were able to take absolutely stunning portraits, and then have the floral arches moved from their ceremony space to their reception. These are tips that we highly recommend because it allows for you to save on the floral costs but still have over the top pieces that make a huge difference in your overall wedding design.
