Kristen and Nick’s Shoreby Club wedding in Cleveland, Ohio was timeless and full of intention. From the very beginning, the day felt joyful and thoughtfully designed.Their day unfolded across some of Cleveland’s most iconic venues. It blended a traditional Catholic ceremony with a waterfront reception by Lake Erie.
To begin the day, the guys got ready at the Shoreby Club while overlooking Lake Erie. The calm energy of the water set the tone for the day and created a relaxed start before the celebration truly began.

During the ceremony, Kristen and Nick exchanged vows in a beautiful Catholic Mass at St. John the Evangelist Cathedral. The ceremony was reverent, heartfelt, and filled with quiet moments of reflection and joy.
One of the most meaningful moments, Kristen shared a sweet first look with her father. It was sweet, emotional, and full of love. Just before the ceremony, there was also a joyful, unscripted moment when Kristen’s mother in law excitedly jumped on the bed with Kristen and her mom, laughter filling the room. These are the kinds of memories that make a wedding day unforgettable.

After the ceremony, we headed to The McKinney House at the Western Reserve Historical Society for portraits. The historic architecture created an elegant setting for portraits.
One of our favorite details was discovering that the wallpaper in the upper level of the McKinney House mirrored the look and pattern of the linens chosen for the reception. It felt like one of those quiet design moments that tied the entire day together effortlessly.
Kristen’s slicked back bun looked flawless from start to finish, and her Bella Belle shoes added the perfect romantic touch to her bridal look.

Later in the evening, the celebration continued back at the Shoreby Club. Guests were welcomed into a stunning waterfront reception planned and designed by Sirpilla Soirees.
The color palette felt timeless and refined. Black, white, blush, and champagne tones carried throughout the space. Every detail felt intentional and elegant, from the linens to the florals to the glow of the evening light over Lake Erie.
As the sun set, we captured drone images of Kristen and Nick by the water, one of the most breathtaking backdrops Cleveland has to offer. Later in the evening, the energy shifted into pure celebration when Kristen and Nick stepped behind the DJ booth themselves, playing DJ at the end of the night and soaking in every last moment of their wedding day.

Kristen and Nick’s Shoreby Club wedding was the perfect blend of tradition, design, and personality. From a meaningful church ceremony to lakeside views, their day reflected who they are. The dance floor was full of laughter and joy.
It was truly an honor to document this beautiful Cleveland wedding and work alongside such an incredible vendor team.
