How many images can we expect in our wedding gallery is one of our most commonly asked questions! So we wanted to be sure to give you the answer! This is part one of a series of posts that are going to answer some frequently asked questions about our Wedding Experience.

HOW MANY IMAGES?

For a standard 8 hour wedding day a bride can expect to receive anywhere from 800-1,000 images. The number of images will vary based on portrait time, number of details, and travel time. Here is a detailed look at what makes up those 800-1,000 images!

WHAT SHOULD WE EXPECT TO SEE?

Details and Getting Ready

We always deliver a variety of each section of your day. We start off with details to tell the full story and look of your beautiful day. We then make sure to include some images of you getting ready and of course getting into your dress and your groom buttoning his jacket! After that we get some images of the ceremony details and of course your ceremony! We capture images of you walking down the aisle to you leaving as Mr. and Mrs. and every moment in between! We are always sure to capture the groom as you are walking down the aisle too! His reaction is always priceless! These are all candid moments as they unfold throughout your ceremony!

Ceremony Details, Ceremony, and Family Formals

Following the ceremony we will photograph the exit, if you have one, and then family formals! We can get a classic shot of the two of you as well as one with the bridal party!

Bridal Party, Bridal Portraits, Groom Portraits, and Bride and Groom Portraits

Then we will go to the portrait location and take bridal party, individual images with bridesmaids and the bride/groomsmen and the groom, bride portraits, groom portraits, and then of course the bride and groom portraits!

Reception Candids and Details

Following portraits we head to the reception where we will get detail shots and then candids of all of the special moments throughout the night!

Golden Hour Portraits

We LOVE to take Golden Hour portraits in the prettiest light of the day. We usually schedule these about 30 minutes before sunset and we will talk to you ahead of time as well as your DJ on the day of to make sure that we can flawlessly sneak off with the two of you for about 15 minutes to capture some of our favorite portraits of the day!
